The most ridiculous political correctness I have heard lately is a high school not being allowed to have a cougar as its mascot because it might offend middle-age women who like younger men. Are you kidding?
Worker freedom prevails! No more threat of forced unionization. Thank you, Brian Bosma, for the freedom. I will sleep better at night from now on.
The person who said he got nothing out of paying union dues for 31 years forgot to tell you this: His wages increased, his health care improved, safety on the job, no discrimination, plus vacation improvements. Ignorance can be corrected; stupidity is forever.
I find it ironic that the Indiana Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for right to work when there is a fee to be a member of the group. Shouldn’t all businesses get to join the chamber and reap the benefits without paying that fee? Seems only fair.
Why is it such an issue to a business if a state is right to work? I say we don’t want certain companies if they care so little about employees.
Originally, Gov. Mitch Daniels said hundreds of businesses did not come to Indiana because it was not a right-to-work state, when the actual number was about 80. However, more than 200 businesses did come to Indiana. How many of those would not have come if Indiana had been a right-to-work state then?
Now we have the Tennessee tea party trying to erase all mention of slavery in school textbooks in its state. What is wrong with these idiots?
