If you think people who are paying union dues are going to stop, you are sadly mistaken. They know why they have a livable wage and good benefits. They also appreciate the training they were given to perform the job safely and to the best of their abilities.

Just because the right-to-work bill will be passed doesn’t mean the unions can’t go to Indianapolis on Super Bowl weekend and protest. It is a free country.

I keep reading about the benefits of union representation. I pay my dues, but I’m still waiting for representation. What is this representation? Free donuts every Tuesday?

Nepotism exists in many areas of employment, but it still is wrong. The only time you really can’t get around it is if you work for a family-owned business.

I am sick and tired of the complaints I read in Quickly. Isn’t anyone happy anymore? Now that half of us aren’t working and food is scarce, we have more time to play games with the kids and choose which one of us will be the lucky one to eat today. Quit complaining!

Right to work, teaching creationism in schools, canned hunting. Aren’t there more important issues for our Legislature to resolve?

It’s great that our special forces rescued those two hostages in Somalia. But if our citizens would stay out of areas of the world where they don’t want us, then they wouldn’t get kidnapped. These people put our troops at risk to serve their own egos.
