Quickly’s Neighbors, Feb. 2

So, is Meijer in Portage going to move into the old Kmart building or are they going to tear it down and build a new one?

Great thanks to the man in the pickup in Crown Point who stopped at the driveway where senior citizens were shoveling heavy slush last week. You lowered your snowplow and scooped it away without saying a word or asking for anything, then just went on your way. God bless you for your kindness; it was so appreciated.

Camelot residents, beware. Make sure you lock your car; I didn’t. They got my cell phone, a CD case and some loose change.

Kudos to the Gary Police Department officers who arrested the thugs who broke into my house. I did my own detective work and followed them to their location, called the police and got them arrested.

There was no mention of damaged driveways in Portage. The issue was snow being pushed back into clean driveways. Many elderly and those with health problems can’t afford to have them redone. Please understand what you are reading.
