I can’t speak for anyone else, but I don’t think I am alone. I have been on election overload for a very long time. By November, we all will be ready for a remote tropical island.
Loved the story about the AWOL juror. It’s about time every member of society is held accountable for his or her actions.
Wow, are we becoming a backward state or what? Right-to-work legislation gets passed. Now, they want to teach creationism in the schools. What’s next, burning suspected witches at the stake?
Creationism? What’s next in Indiana? Geography classes that give equal time to flat-Earth theories?
Smokers get their rights when they are in the grave. Why should others have to pay for your stupidity?
My best union benefit is the workers compensation I collect. It far exceeds any dues money I pay. Last year, it was for my knee; this year, it was for my shoulder and, next year, it will be for stress. Go union!
How low can you get? You clean house for a dying woman and you steal from her? Please, people, only hire workers who are licensed.
Why did they recall all the Aunt Jemima frozen pancake products? No one seems to know, but they are all gone from the shelves.
(Quickly says: The pancakes with use-by dates between Nov. 1, 2011, and Oct. 16, 2012, were recalled because they might contain soy protein.)
As we enjoy this beautiful spring weather, I get upset when people say we’re going to pay for this. What does that mean? Enjoy the weather and don’t worry about tomorrow.
Ban the deed, not the breed. In the right hands, pit bulls are no more dangerous than any other dog. It’s the idiots who train them to fight or to be big, bad guard dogs who are the problem.
