You think just because you’re a police officer you can’t park wherever you want? You are wrong, dumb-dumb. You certainly can.

A UAW tie is all you got for your union dues? How about your vacations, health benefits, raises and — most important — your job ! Wish I had a UAW job.

I was in the license bureau Friday, and there was a woman renewing her license. She was in her 90s, and couldn’t read the chart. They let her try it four times, and she still couldn’t read it. They still gave her a license. Someone should look into this.

President Obama says it’s going to take two more years and $13 billion to train Afghan troops to defend their country. Isn’t it interesting that during World War II, our men and women went to boot camp and learned all they had to do to defend our country? The same was true for Korea and Vietnam. Seems like a big rip-off to me.

Oil prices have been down the last two weeks. Down, down, down. So, why is gas is still high, high, high?

The Lockerbie bomber is dead. I hope hell doesn’t even want him.

Weren’t the people protesting NATO taught manners as children? You can disagree without showing such disrespect to foreign dignitaries. It’s just rude to be such arrogant, nasty-minded people.

Will someone please tell me how a bunch of loudmouths marching in Chicago, raising all kinds of havoc, keeping people from going to work and generally making fools of themselves will change anything?
