What’s happened to the honey bees? I have a beautiful flower garden, and all I have are butterflies and bumblebees — no honey bees. How are my flowers gonna pollinate?
I think way too many people are dying too early on motorcycles this year. Come on, folks, let’s give ’em a break. Look out for them and try to help them along. They have the right to ride motorcycles just as we have the right to drive our cars.
Why are gas prices still so high?
Because of greed. Haven’t realized that yet?
I also got a UAW tie and wear it with pride. I do wish they had picked something more in style made in the USA, but I love my union. If it were not for my union, I would not have been able to collect workers’ comp these past seven years.
I have a great-paying job, vacations, health benefits and get raises, and I am not in any union. I do not have a college degree, but I did spend six years in the Army. You are brainwashed if you think union jobs are the only good jobs.
Jennifer Lopez should get over herself and leave the singing and entertaining to the people competing for “American Idol.” Ticket sales must be down for her upcoming tour, since she has performed three times this season. She is a judge and should leave it that way.
Regarding road construction at night, if you read the newspaper (besides Quickly), you would know how dangerous it is for the workers at night. Some road construction is done at night, but not a lot. Common sense has nothing to do with it. Safety is a big concern, as it should be.
