Quickly’s Neighbors, May 28

Updated: July 3, 2012 10:26AM

As a Crown Point resident, I read the funniest thing in the paper: Gas prices down for the holiday weekend. Oh, but I’m sure they still just make pennies per gallon profit. Oil is way down. So tired of this gas scam.

To the person talking about the grass on 15th Avenue and Cleveland Street: Why didn’t you cut it yourself before it got so tall? We want the city to do things, but we don’t want to do anything. Cut the grass and keep it low.

The park on 5th and Lincoln is not a detriment. The people are. When you see them crowding there, call the police.

City of Hobart: Concerning the municipal parking lot on Third and Main, why bother having a one-way sign at the entrance when people totally ignore it? I’ve almost been hit numerous times by somebody going against the sign. Set a cop up out there; change the sign; do something.

Grant Park is really filthy. When is the city of Gary gonna start sweeping the streets?
