Why isn’t Gov. Mitch Daniels being put on the hot seat concerning the questionable accounting practices in Indiana? He always wants to take credit for his state being fiscally sound. What is his response?

Workmen’s compensation is a state law and varies from state to state. It has nothing to do with whether or not you are a union member and has nothing to do with the collective bargaining process. It applies to everyone who works in that state.

I would like to thank a Jasper County Sheriff’s officer for making my day. He stopped one of those muscle-car speeders who goes by on Indiana 49 North at about 100 mph. Thank you.

I’m over 70 and I live on the second floor, where I have a clear view of the sunset . Lately, there have been a few of the brightest and reddest sunsets I have ever seen. Have you?

Kudos to Sen. Richard Lugar for refusing to campaign for Richard Mourdock. Just because someone is in your party doesn’t mean you agree with his or her platform. These two are polar opposites.

I’d like to know why, if men get their Viagra paid for by the government, what’s wrong with paying for a woman’s birth control? Please give me an answer on that one.

It takes an idiot wrapped around a moron to think it makes any kind of sense to set off fireworks for Memorial Day.

Why does animal control have office hours? Unruly animals don’t abide by a 9-to-5 schedule.

Short shorts, miniskirts, bare midriffs, tank tops, bikinis. God, I love this time of year.

Fireworks are illegal in Porter County on Memorial Day, and idiots are shooting off the ones you only should see at fireworks displays where the people firing them off know what they are doing. Use what little brains you have and check the laws.
