The leaders in Crown Point are on the right track concerning a rental ordinance. Usually, those who lease rental units are only concerned with making a profit. If tenants have to adhere to a lease, owners need to follow guidelines, too.

Wow, seen the new art walk in Valparaiso? I worked for U.S. Steel for 30 years and saw carloads of scrap that looked better than that. The only in thing that they have in common for both of them is what a waste.

The golf course at south Gleason Park looks better than it has ever looked. I invite the public to go out and look at it.

Use some common sense about the Dorie Miller housing project. The police can’t be there longer and monitor who is in somebody’s house who doesn’t belong. You need to go to management and let them know that that house has somebody in there who does not belong.
