I’ve been keeping up with the activities in the park located in the 500 block of Johnson. Surprisingly, as I was driving down 5th Avenue yesterday, there was a garbage can on fire. So now is there an arson problem on top of the loitering and gambling that has plagued the park recently? Is there a way that the citizens can get together, sign a petition, and have the basketball court and jungle gym demolished?
So you’re all right with the powers that be in Crown Point taking away your civil and your constitutional rights to the privacy of your home? Are you nuts? This is all about money and power, just like everything is. But now they’re invading your home without your permission. Grow up.
This is to the mayor of Gary: I see where you got rid of your deputy mayor to save money. Hooray for you. You’re definitely headed in the right direction. Believe me, there are a lot of people behind you. And I don’t even live in Gary but I’m gonna give you a hooray for what you’re doing. Keep it up.
