I think it’s ridiculous they are banning pit bulls at the Hobart parade. It’s discrimination to ban any species. If that’s the case, they should ban a lot of species that are discriminated against.

Those Hobart garbage cans were not given to or made for the residents south of Ains-worth Road. They are for sale, and anyone who lives in Hobart can buy one from the city. When we annexed that part of the city, we were just interested in the mall. However, you all should be proud to be part of the great city Hobart is.

Only 300 enrolled at Edison Learning, yet it will get funds from the state based on enrollment of more than 1,000? What a rip-off for Gary schools.

To the person complaining about the road construction on Stone Avenue in Portage: Will you stop complaining? Things are finished. They are just doing touch-up work.

To the people who keep using South Broad Street in Griffith: The railroad tracks will be closed for two more weeks, so you can’t get through.

I think they must need a bigger stop sign at Samuelson Road and Old Porter Road in Portage. It’s not a courtesy thing; it’s the law.
