Valparaiso’s new downtown park is a hit! How sad that the bland name chosen for this park, unlike Fairgrounds Park, will not remind visitors of Valpo’s historic past when lines formed around the corner to see a movie at the Premier Theater. Doesn’t “Premier Plaza” have a nice ring?

I sure do wish the Cedar Lake Police Department would do something about these Illinois plates over here. It’s unbelievable. It’s about time these people start paying their own way around here.
Cancel the fireworks because it is going to be so dry it will be very dangerous. My back yard could be set on fire by a simple spark.
