If politicians are serious about cutting Medicare or Social Security they should look seriously into cutting their pensions and health care they have. They are much better and cost them practically nothing.

What’s not to like about Mitt Romney? He’s a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He’s also a successful and charitable businessman thanks to hard work and discipline. Oops, I forgot Barack Obama has taught us that being successful is something to be ashamed of.

I’ve worked for more than 50 years. If Romney is going to get 12 million jobs and they are going to cut off Social Security and Medicare, he better save a couple of those jobs for me.

You’re right, Romney. America needs jobs. Lots of jobs. So tell your friends in the Republican Congress to pass the jobs bill, which contains about 65 percent tax cuts directly created to hiring and job creation.

Although I have a great deal of respect for Clint Eastwood as a filmmaker and an America, I have to ask the question. Was he on the sauce or off his meds?

I’m gonna park at the gas pump when I want to and I’m gonna do my business. If you don’t like it, that’s too bad.

Two four wheelers were stolen Aug. 26 on Colorado Street in Hobart. If you know anyone selling these with keys, call the Hobart Police.

I despise spearmint, so I had it removed from the market. Sorry.

I was happy to see Katherine Jackson with Michael’s children. No matter the problems there are in that mixed-up family, the love and security with a grandmother is like no other love and trust.
