People keep talking about a sluggish economy, but I do not know anyone who is not working. People are buying new cars and houses, going to Disneyland, and the stock market is reaching new highs.
We’ve been in a depression for four years. Don’t be greedy with your contracts and what you want. Be glad you have a job, because if companies aren’t making money, the money will not be passed along to you.
The Republicans think they are going to get into the White House by deceiving the American people at every turn. I hope people are fact-checking all those lies they tell.
Well, the Democratic Convention is here, and I can hardly wait to see the media fawn all over President Obama. Let his re-election campaign officially start as far as the media is concerned, because they are gonna be all over him.
I want to send a big thank-you from all of Northwest Indiana to David Mrak for his kindness to the young serviceman returning to Colorado. I know there are good Samaritans all around here; we just don’t hear enough about them. You, sir, are a fine gentleman. Bless you.
Why is it OK in America for the wealthy to get wealthier, yet it’s frowned upon for the working man to make a living wage and a decent wage?
I didn’t know wearing pants was a privilege, and you want some people to lose that privilege? You want ’em wearing no pants at all? You’re kinda strange.
It’s your choice if you want to take drugs. If you decide to do so, why should society care about any of your problems and pay for them?
I’d like to see the people of this country wake up and realize this is the most important election I’ve seen, and I’m almost 80 years old.
