The term “working man” is so misused. Just because you are wealthy doesn’t mean you aren’t a working man.
What country do you live in? I know several people out of work or splitting a 40-hour-a-week job. I don’t know of anyone who has bought a new car or gone to Disneyland for years. Don’t be fooled by the stock market.
You’re living in a dream world if you think the economy isn’t “sluggish” at minimum. Maybe your circle of friends works, but I know about 50 people without jobs. Northwest Indiana is its own economy — separate from the rest of the state. It is in ruins.
Am I the only one who wishes we had someone besides Barack Obama and Mitt Romney to choose from in this election? Hard to believe these are the two best candidates. Sadly, most people will vote for the lesser of two evils. I don’t think this is how it’s supposed to be.
Stupid people vote for a candidate because of his looks. Smart people vote for a candidate because of his ability to lead, compassion, care about the environment and ability to handle the nation’s and world’s issues with a discerning mind.
I’m so tired of hearing people complain about the price of gas. How about if I give you my Hemi for a week? About four days into it, you will be begging for your small-block, your six cylinders and your four cylinders back.
I saw two guys getting on the South Shore train, and their saggin’ pants were so low they were holding their belts so the pants wouldn’t fall down. I wish people who wear these disgusting clothes would be refused entry to stores, trains, buses, etc.
