Glad to see the United Steelworkers got a tentative agreement. Now, maybe they will stop whining and crying about how much they aren’t getting. It never seems to be enough.
Quickly, can you please post some different comments other than politics every single day? Some of us get tired of reading the Quicklies when there is nothing but political comments. The comment about the McDonald’s Happy Meal was refreshing for a change.
If you feel your neighbors are committing welfare fraud, then you need to report them. Just be sure you have some proof. There are investigators throughout the state who do this job. Last year, almost $1 million were found. I know people who need welfare but don’t apply because they are too proud.
Now you are going to complain about talking on a cell phone and riding your bike? Get a life. Like that’s all we have to worry about.
To the thieves who broke into my mother’s car: I hope you are enjoying your newly gained stolen items. But, you slipped up and left evidence behind, so expect to be arrested very soon. Do you have nothing better to do than steal from hard-working people?
Police officers above the law? Ever been to one of their parties? Driving drunk is something you and I have to worry about, not them.
Only 96,000 jobs created last month, yet the jobless rate drops to 8.1 percent because 386,000 people stopped looking. The real unemployment rate is really more than 12 percent. Sadly, neither party has a real plan to get this country back to work anytime soon. We soon will be a Third World nation.
