Whoever is in charge of which streets in Portage are to be repaved or repaired must be a stay-at-home who never drives. Take a look at Lute
Road west of Willowcreek,
Central Avenue east of Airport, then tell me again that Ameriplex needs work done on the streets there.
When did the Popcorn parade turn into a people-walking parade? There were only a few floats and a few bands this year. And some of the bands did not even wear uniforms.
The Popcorn Festival parade was fantastic again this year. VHS Marching Band, you guys are great! But, the amount of rude people astonished me; large groups of people were crossing the street right in the middle of the parade. The announcer on Lincolnway repeatedly asked people to stop crossing for safety reasons, but still many people ignored her.

I just called to say I’m very happy to see the new blacktop. I couldn’t agree more, because 49th and Elm Street was destroying my car.
