Quickly’s Neighbors, Sept. 17

Updated: October 18, 2012 6:07AM

Hey, Valparaiso, so White Castle is coming to U.S. 30, and the city is concerned about its driveway and thinks it’s dangerous? And this is the same city that has created three dangerous intersections downtown by eliminating three stoplights? Doesn’t make sense.

History: I always liked the Middle Ages,

especially the court jesters. Oh, wait, I live in Cedar Lake and still have them. They make up the Town Council.

All the resources that Hobart has, and the only place that gets mowed twice a week is the old sewer plant/goose-and-groundhog retreat/Fourth of July fireworks VIP parking lot. No lights and unmowed grass at the 9/11 memorial service did not reflect well on the city.

“No student drop-offs in the middle of the parking lot.” Taft Middle School parents, what don’t you understand about this rule? Why do you continue to do this? Why would you endanger your children? What is wrong with you people?

Note to Popcorn Festival Parade organizers: People need to be able to cross the street. Space out the floats and make designated crossing zones, controlled by security staff.
