Hey, Quickly, how come you always print the comments about greedy union workers never having enough, but you don’t put anything in the paper about greedy CEOs running companies into the ground?
If the County Council wants to cut the budget, why don’t the members take pay cuts and insurance cuts, and not tax the people who really need it?
Rest in peace, Ambassador Christopher Stevens and colleagues. From most accounts on both sides of the political spectrum, Stevens was a great asset and credit to the United States diplomatic service and was truly dedicated to our interests in the Middle East.
The person who wants to read less about politics is a typical “low-information voter.” Such people can’t be bothered with thinking about who they’re voting for or against.

If you want to know what it was like to travel in the horse-and-buggy days before there were paved roads, take — or try to take — a drive on 15th Avenue from Cline Avenue to Burr Street. That would be a really good place to put in a road.
Am I the only one who drives the speed limit on the death trap that is Cline Avenue weekday mornings around 6? I wish these inconsiderate speeders —or should I say reckless drivers — would set their alarms to get up a few minutes earlier.
