I can’t wait until the first snowplow hits that low traffic island at Oak and Montgomery streets and demolishes it.
Why is it necessary to scare everyone within a one-mile radius of the Valparaiso High School before every home football game with a gigantic explosion of fireworks? Isn’t there any other way to start the game?
I just want to tell Mayor Snyder that people who live in mobile homes are not trailer trash, so please stop treating us as though we are.
I live in Gary and this morning I called the sewer department because I had a backup in my house and I just wanted them to check the lines and make sure everything was OK. They came out within the hour and took a look. They ran dye and water down the sewer and everything like that. I was thoroughly pleased and I just wanted to thank the Gary sewer department.
I’m still wondering, how long is it going to take for someone to cut the weeds on 25th Avenue and Pennsylvania? You can’t even see the stop sign, you can’t see the fire hydrant. I don’t know if there are bears or wolves in the forest there.
