Some babies are left alone while mothers dash into the post office or gas station. If you think no one can take your baby in a couple minutes, something is seriously wrong with your car doors or your brain.
I would like to apologize to all drivers on the Borman Expressway. When I drive only 65-70 mph, it really slows down your morning and evening commutes. It must be terrible to zoom up about a foot behind me, then fly around me with a disgusted look on your face. I will try to do better.
The low-flying airplanes of which you speak probably are landing in Gary. They can’t just drop in from 40,000 feet.
So many people complain about the Democrats and Republicans. Why don’t you just vote for an independent? That would solve the problem.
Why didn’t the union NFL players honor the union referees’ lockout? Wouldn’t they be considered scabs?
As ridiculous as it seems, that lane of U.S. 6 hasn’t been closed because of construction; it’s closed because of broken glass. The lane probably will be reopened after the first snow, when the plows push all the mess aside.
Mitt Romney says he will create 12 million jobs, but does not say how. Sounds like a lot of election you-know-what to me.
Since the Obamas came to the White House, they have spent $100 billion-plus on fun and games. Are you willing to go this route again? Wake up, people.
Doesn’t anyone realize it isn’t just the poor who make up the 47 percent of those who do not pay taxes?
