I know religion isn’t very popular right now, but I’m gonna ask all the Quickly readers to stop for a moment and say a prayer for the people affected by this deadly storm.
The wind turbine companies should be getting rich.
Explain, please, what is a parkway? If I knew where the parkway was, I’d put my leaves in the parkway.
To all of you who wasted your time, energy and/or money getting rid of those pesky leaves, I present the free alternative: Hurricane Sandy.
Thank goodness for Hurricane Sandy. Finally, something to push the political ads off all the TV channels. However, we now have nothing to watch but weather weenies standing outside in the wind and rain, and hyping the “end of the world” storm. I can’t wait to see what they do on Dec. 21 when the world ends.
What’s with all this early voting? Who started it and why? Why bother having Election Day if this is the way it’s going to be?
Incumbent politicians say there is no need for term limits. On Nov. 6, let us prove them correct.
Social Security taxes are paid on the first $110,000 of earnings. If this cap were raised or eliminated, Social Security would be solvent forever.
Shame on you seniors who love when your Social Security check comes each month, but are more than willing to vote and have it taken away from your children and grandchildren.
Richard Mourdock’s career is in shambles, but hey, it’s something that God intended to happen.
