Why are so many people willing to pay extra money to get a license plate that says “In God We Trust,” then place the plate in a frame that hides the motto?
We barflies really hate Election Day. We have to wait until 6 o’clock to belly up and start getting our load on.
Super PACs spent millions on political ads back-stabbing other candidates. It could have been better spent paying the poor better wages.
Quickly is not a disgrace; however, it seems many of the individuals submitting comments are diabolic, and their true spirits are reflected in their thoughts.
Discontinue Quickly? Never! Harry Truman said it best, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!”
To the person who said Quickly is a disgrace: Turn the page if you don’t want to read what we have to say. I and many readers love Quickly and hope it stays forever.
You said now that Halloween is over, the next holiday is Thanksgiving. Please do not forget to fly your flag on the next holiday — Nov. 11, the real Veterans Day.
Hallmark TV beat out WLIT radio. It started running continuous Christmas movies all day Saturday. I’m not ready for this.
Everyone, fill your gas tanks because you know after Election Day, the price is going up again.
Religious liberty? I don’t want my employers to force their “morality” on me. They’re not paying for birth control; they’re paying insurance premiums. I can decide what’s right for me.
