I will tell you why the neighbor with the Proud Union Home sign is proud. His union gave him the chance to collect his worker’s compensation and the spare time to build his barn.
At first, I blamed the wind, but soon realized my Proud Union Home sign had been taken, along with those of several Wheatfield neighbors. What kind of lowlives do this, and what purpose do they think it served?
I am so happy the Hallmark Channel is showing Christmas movies, even if I’ve seen some of them 10 times. In fact, I have some of my outside Christmas lights on. That ought to set off some of you.
When you get your mail, instead of sitting in your car, blocking the road so drivers can’t get through, you park in your driveway and walk out to the mailbox? Talk about lazy, inconsiderate people!
People who believe in global warming should be ashamed of themselves. One in five kids goes to bed hungry, so let’s spend another billion dollars on junk science. It must be hard living in fear.
Sandy is yet another example of why people should not be allowed to build on seashores. Now, I suppose our tax dollars will be spent rebuilding their homes, only to have it happen again in the near future.
Has anyone received a questionnaire from the Department of Commerce and told the response is required by law? What is it and why is it required by law? Man does not control the weather,
but he has influenced it to these extremes.
