I am really thankful for the cool weather. I have to close my windows, and I do not hear my neighbors’ grown daughter screaming and crying at 2 and 3 a.m. because her boyfriend isn’t allowed to live there.
The “In God We Trust” license plate is standard issue. You do not pay extra for that.
I hope you don’t listen to the person who said to get rid of Quickly. I love Quickly. I look forward to reading it. It’s the first thing I read in the paper; then, I do the puzzle.
Each Sunday, we lose a ton of money in tax dollars from liquor sales. When are the people of Indiana going to wise up and keep Indiana money in Indiana?
Where do you think the money goes when the super PACs spend it on ads? It goes to ad agencies that pay employees that hire people to put up billboards and make TV commercials, etc. In other words, it makes it into the pockets of everyday Americans.
Too bad all the money for the political campaigns couldn’t have gone to the Hurricane Sandy victims.
Many people think the Electoral College
is unfair, but, so far, no one has come up with a better way to elect a president of these United States.
Has anyone besides me noticed the absence of bumper stickers this year in the campaign by either party? Interesting; I guess they need more money for television.
Can we please have Thanksgiving before we have Christmas? So many people seem to forget the things for which they need to be grateful.
