The Liberty Township polling place at Sands Mobile Home Park had only four voting stations — two sets of two that were stuck together — so some voters could shake the other stand. It was very annoying. The poll workers said the line was wrapped around the building earlier in the morning. Well, duh!
I refuse to vote when we have no choice other than the two party hacks put forth by the corrupt political parties. Only when the two-party system is abolished will I reconsider.
Crown Point gas stations didn’t wait until after the election to raise the price 22 cents per gallon; it happened the day before. Such a scam.
I’m glad the Gary Community School Corp. did not get the bank building. Build a new one in the Horace Mann area and use the old school for the warehouse.
If you lost your key on election day at Trinity Lutheran Church on U.S. 30 and Marshall Street you can pick it up at the church office.
