The new visitors center at Valparaiso University looks like a cross between Frank Lloyd Wright and a 1950s-style diner. What were they thinking? It’s not a bad-looking building, but there is no cohesiveness among any of the architecture on campus.
I’ve been waiting for the Valparaiso Quickly callers to freak out when they realize the triple roundabout is on the new Vale Park extension over the bypass. Or maybe they’ll just never have to use it. I don’t mind roundabouts, but the new Vale Park system does seem pretty ridiculous.
Hi, Valparaiso. I just took a drive under the new bridge on the bypass at night, with the changing colored lights and all of that. Let me put it to you this way: As a kid, I could have done a better job with an Erector Set and a flashlight.
Who’s out of control in Hobart, the mayor or his fire and police chiefs?
I think the Work One office in the Village Shopping Center in Gary should have a public restroom. People sit there and can’t use the restroom and have to go to McDonald’s across the street to use it.
Gary is turning into the wild, wild west. Shoot first, ask questions later.
