So, if marijuana is legal, does that mean employers have to hire potheads?
What’s up with the goofy traffic signals on U.S. 30 by Westfield Southlake mall? Some run for minutes, and others last 10 seconds. I can see some serious accidents happening.
Jerry Davich believes calling gun owners ignorant will make his anti-gun stance valid. As usual, he’s wrong.
Why hasn’t Tom Philpot been sentenced? If my memory serves me well, his trial and guilty verdict were in September. If it were the average Joe, we would have not been allowed to leave the courthouse. Why the delay?
I totally agree with Angus T. Jones that “Two and a Half Men” is filth — always has been. He’s not too smart to bite the hand that feeds him $8 million a year at the age of 19. I bet Jake gets sent to Afghanistan now.
The wholesale price of gasoline that dealers pay is public knowledge on the commodities market. Why does NWI, with fewer taxes, have Chicago prices? We are getting hosed.
Santa flying in on a Lake County Sheriff’s helicopter? I can’t imagine where any additional spending cuts could be made. And you want to borrow $15 million from Porter County? Not!
I also taught my kids how to sneak their snacks and drinks into a theater. We don’t teach them to steal from others; we’re not bad people. Maybe if the theaters weren’t gouging us with the prices of their candy and drinks, we would buy them there. It’s almost impossible for a family to go see a movie under $100. Seriously, $4.50 for a box of Milk Duds?
