Our deepest gratitude to Fabian Martinez and the Hobart Fire Department gentlemen who rescued us off Lake George Monday evening. They were very kind and extremely professional, and made me even prouder to be a Hobart resident. We are truly blessed to have these guys be a part of our city services. They are my heroes!
Valparaiso is like a casino now: It’s very easy to get in but darn near impossible to leave.
My mother was 90 years old Dec. 3 and the Hobart police came over with a birthday card. Thank you very much from her and from me. Good job.
Marcella Boulevard in Hobart between Menards and 61st Avenue is very dark and dan-gerous. Streetlights, dividing
white lines and arrows showing curves in the road are badly needed.
Valparaiso City Council: Do not vote for more apartments in this city. Apartments will ruin this beautiful city.
Now I know why everybody has problems on the roundabout: All the yield signs are
red and white. Aren’t they
supposed to be yellow with black writing?
