Quickly’s Neighbors, Dec. 13

Hobart Middle School parents, when you pick up your kids after school would you please pull up directly behind the car in front of you, or at least leave a car’s length so somebody can pull in and
park? I can’t fit my van into three-quarters of a parking space or half of a parking
space. Why don’t you people
use your sense?
Yes Portage resident, this
is from a Gary resident: I am willing to pay for the garbage can. One thing I know in life is you can’t get anything for free. So I am willing to pay.
I went to that Christmas
concert they had at Lake Central High School at 2 p.m. I
want to congratulate the instructor and all the people there. It was a very great concert, probably one of the best I’ve gone to. There wasn’t a
song I didn’t like. And that’s a rarity for me.
Portage is wasting money. They were spreading salt
Monday night and Tuesday morning. Monday the snow
was melting, Tuesday morning was sunny and no snow or ice
on the street.
