Does Gary have a law against begging on the street? Well, if you do, why don’t you start enforcing?
Everyone should drive by the house at 11610 W. 143rd Ave. in Cedar Lake. As usual, it’s wonderful. Tens of thousands of lights and characters. Merry Christmas everybody.
The picture of Marquette Park Pavilion at its reopening last week brought back so many fond memories of my husband and me dancing across that beautiful floor at many lovely events in the past.
The mayor of Gary wants to keep the trucks on Interstate 80/94 so the four truck stops do not lose business. Like I really care about Gary and being stuck in traffic.
Thanks to the courage of the Ogden Dunes Town Council, our community will be able to maintain a healthy deer herd. Meanwhile, we are protecting the life of our forests and other flora and fauna. Bravo!
How could a Crown Point country club let off fireworks two days after the killings on the East Coast, scaring me and my neighbors? The loud noise sounded like gunshots, shook my house, and scared me to death. Way to go. You have such good taste.
