If the city of Valparaiso were a corporation and lost a large account — as an example, the manufacturer that is relocating from Valparaiso to Chesterton — the CEO would be required to resign. So when is Mayor Costas going to resign? And probably the City Council should join him.
In Crown Point, at Summit Street and Merrillville Road, a sign says a stoplight is coming in 2012. Well, this is 2013. Where’s that stoplight?
Well, mayor of Gary, one year has passed since you’ve been in office, and we still have crime. Didn’t you say during the debate that you would get rid of crime in Gary?
For the new year, let’s see the pants up, for a change, with a belt. Come on, let’s think of a new decent style — maybe suspenders.
