Why are they taking money from the Gary Community School Corp.? It’s been working on little enough as it is. Why doesn’t the state take away money being spent on convicts? People in jail should not have it better than citizens who pay taxes to support them.

The first day of a new garbage company and, guess what? No pickup! They were running up and down my street, but never picked up the trash.Hope this isn’t like the new school bus service.

Hobart crime-wave derelicts be warned: Water Street is well-covered by my cameras recording your every move 24/7.

If someone lost a beautiful gray cat in the Portage area, there is one deceased in the 5600 block of Kingman Avenue in the Brookview subdivision. Sorry, but maybe a family is looking for its pet.

To drivers in Chesterton: There is a stop sign at 15th Street and Washington Avenue. What is it about “stop” you don’t understand? About one in 10 cars stop.
