These ridiculous gun vs. car comparisons are asinine and miss one big point: Someone may die in a car accident, but killing is not the purpose of a car. A gun, however, has one purpose, to kill or practice killing. I’m not against guns, but I am against idiotic arguments.
Thanks to whoever turned in my friend’s wallet at Kmart. I hope you spent his rent money wisely. He’s out of work.
Everyone in prison doesn’t have a mental disorder. Some are stupid, some are lazy, and some are just opportunists.
Give every taxpayer a stimulus check again — this time, a check that is enough to help someone. I think $1,000 for every taxpayer would be good, with the stipulation that the money be spent — and not saved — to help the economy.
It would be nice to have adults running America instead of squabbling children.
I’ve purchased every weight-loss program that has been advertised on late-night TV. So far, the only weight loss I have seen has been in my wallet.
I once had a little Ford Maverick with a hot V-8 in it. One day, I drove as fast as I could to see how long it would take me to get to work. Took 20 minutes. The next day, I drove normally and I got there in 22 minutes. Driving fast isn’t worth the danger of having an accident.
