Just wanted to send a huge thank-you to the Portage sanitation workers. They have been such a great help to us seniors in Ingram Manor. We will miss you so much when Portage switches us over in February. Job well done, guys — you went above and beyond!
The town of Merrillville and the police need to address motorists speeding more than 50 mph down residential streets on 53rd and Grant Street, going through the stop sign there and almost getting hit. The stop sign also on Grant Street, adjoining 57th Avenue. Please check out this situation.
I hope the Hobart elected officials run their homes better than they can run a city. Why should we vote for you again?
Now that the second chief of police in Hobart has resigned under Mayor Snedecor, maybe the next one to resign should be Mayor Snedecor.
If you know the big red octagon means stop, how is it the cops thought you didn’t? Don’t whine; pay the fine and move on.
