I must have had the flu both times in my life I got the flu shot. Never have I been so sick. Never have had the flu shot since, and never have been that sick since.
I am a proud union member, and my union does protect me from the flu by offering free flu shots at several locations. Don’t hate unions just because we have decent wages and benefits.
I love the flu shot and union member statement. That is what Quickly is all about — not thanking someone for doing their job.
Gun advocates love to point out that Chicago has the nation’s highest murder rate and the toughest gun laws. Truth is, Chicago’s real problem is its proximity to Indiana.
What’s so refreshing about two dads talking at their sons’ bus stop? Drug deals can be made from any street corner without regard to the intended purpose of said corner.
You don’t want to use a slingshot against a tank and a assault rifle will do better? Think before you speak.
I am appalled that people are insensitive to 20 children being murdered in school. No one even knows or cares what their names were. Forty years ago, we would have immediately found a solution.
Some people really need to educate themselves on what the government is trying to do with the gun ban. Automatic weapons have been illegal since 1934!
To the person who says we need to ban automatic weapons to reduce gun violence: You’ll be pleased to know they have been banned since 1986.
