So, our state lawmakers
are considering a bill to
give casinos a tax break that could cost the state up to
$230 million annually. I guess
a few out-of-state casino owners have a lot more clout than thousands of Indiana teachers and parents.
Average Joe wants to know, are we gonna let the mentally challenged dictate how we
live our lives? No boo-hoo intended!
If those cable news networks have gotten your dander up, those millionaires have you right where they want you.
You’re right; the National Rifle Association shouldn’t have any say on gun laws, just like big corporations shouldn’t have a say in laws passed that affect their profit-making. We all know how well that’s working out, don’t we?
Some people are very narrow-minded. They think what is important to them should be important to everyone. Everyone has the right to decide their own priorities.
I was not impressed with Beyonce and the Super Bowl halftime show. It really wasn’t geared for a family sporting event.
The wacko from Alabama must have been a real nut case. Who wants to be in a room with a 5-year-old for a week?
Everyone agrees we need a local trauma center, but how do we pay for it? Nothing comes for free.
Just saw two of the biggest, fattest robins in my driveway.
I was so glad to see them. I know they don’t leave, but
they seem to get scarce in
the winter, and they were beautiful.
