You’re missing the point folks. The reason for roundabouts is to save time. If you can’t negotiate a roundabout, at least you can take comfort that you can still buy an assault rifle.
The Hobart Street Department is the best. A huge tree limb fell last night behind our car and into the street, and we just couldn’t move it. They came within minutes after I called and cut it up and moved it for us. We are grateful senior citizens.
Quite a few of my comments are printed in Quickly. However, it is strange that when I praise the employees of Lake Station, especially the street department, those comments are printed. When I comment on something negative about Lake Station, it is not printed.
A Lake Station court clerk has $16,000 in her car trunk for six months. Are there no checks and balances being used in Lake Station? Do two employees take the deposit to the bank? Are the deposit slips not recorded daily and double signed?
Unwanted stuff? Free-cycle groups keep it out of landfills. There are several groups in both Lake and Porter counties. Just Google it.
