Tom Philpot’s trial was last fall. It is now February, and he still has not been sentenced. I hope the judge does the right thing and gives him the maximum. Time to finally pay the piper, Mr. Philpot!
If the ex-coroner doesn’t go to jail, it will prove to me and others that justice is still for sale in Lake County.
Our state wants to pass a bill to help students take remedial courses after graduation so they can go to college. They shouldn’t have graduated from high school in the first place.
