Quickly’s Neighbors, March 6

Updated: April 7, 2013 6:12AM

I just want to thank the person who paid for my wife’s and my meals at Round the Clock restaurant last Monday in Valparaiso.

I would like to see Lake Station police sit on the corner of Oak Street and Liverpool Road, and the 38th block of Liverpool to try and slow down some of these cars. They’re starting to speed again. Even the school busses are going 35 mph in a 25 mph zone. So start writing tickets.

Cindy, keep up the fantastic work. You are the best thing that’s ever happened for Shorewood. We’ve come a long way.

Carrol Vertrees’
column on turn signals
had me laughing out loud. I love this guy!

You cannot honestly call County Line Road from 109th Avenue in Winfield to County Road 100N a road. It’s very clear the road crews don’t even know it exists or just don’t care. It’s treacherous, hard on vehicles and a dangerous disgrace.
