It’s easy to rattle off the names of great liberals: Jesus, Buddha, Copernicus, DaVinci, Michelangelo, Galileo, Voltaire, Locke, Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, Monroe, Adams, Darwin, Dickens, Hugo, Melville, Lincoln, Twain, Picasso, Einstein, Darrow, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King Jr.. Great conservatives? Wiiliam F. Buckley and Barry Goldwater are about it, I think.

The first American Pope may be South American, but still American.

Well this Pope is a little younger, maybe he’ll be able to hold his head up straight when he puts on that goofy hat.

It’s said Obamacare would add 30,000 good-paying jobs in Indiana. If Indiana is average the 50 states would see a combined total of 1,500,000 jobs. This would be great. The only problem is the taxpayers will be paying the wages for these new jobs, either as patients, increased health insurance premiums, or increased taxes.

Judges should stop giving plea agreements. Let ’em serve their full term. Keep ’em off the street.

Now GOP Sen. Portman is for gay marriage because his son came out the closet-- if he was starving wonder how Portman would feel about food stamps.
