I give up, let us make the Chicago mayor our mayor, since we are paying Chicago gas prices we must be annexed to them. Friday our gas cost 30 cents more than surrounding areas, I will now make a good try at not purchasing gas here in this town.

I’m curious about the story of the Hammond school teacher sexting some of his students. The news item mentions that the charges were being investigated by Homeland Security agents, not by Hammond Police. Since when does a federal agency get involved with a purely local matter having nothing to do with national security?
