Ditto on that motorcycle noise on south U.S. 231 in Crown Point. I’m tired of hearing it myself.
Kudos to the Hobart police for starting the after-school program. This is a great way to keep kids in a safe, structured environment.
Gary Community School Corporation pays its substitute teachers such a low salary, the students that they teach make more than they do.
God bless Lake County Councilman Eldon Strong for his five-point plan. He’s trying to come up with a way to keep us from having the Democratic county income tax imposed on us.
There have been so many fliers on posts around Crown Point from a person who is missing a collie. They have been there for many months. Did you ever get your dog back? You said not to chase it. I hope you have been reconnected with that dog you seem to love so much.
So the town of Highland is going to start ticketing cars that are parked the wrong direction? But in the meantime we have other things going on. But we’re worried about cars being parked the wrong way.
