I can’t believe it! Someone wants to patent the human gene? What’s next: Patent God? Only in Amerika?
I’m sorry to inform you that two years of a foreign language is now required for a high school diploma in Indiana. So we do, in fact, encourage other languages. Comprende?
When I was a child we were so afraid of the Soviet Union and the big bomb. Now my son is so afraid North Korea will start a nuclear war. Well, we’ve got bigger problems at home with the bombs going off at the Boston Marathon. My heart goes out to all those killed, maimed and traumatized.
Never, never, never when I was growing up in the 1940s, did I even have a thought that my grandchildren would be living in a violent world that had security threats all around them. Yes, this was during World War II, but we knew who our enemy was, and we knew where to find him.
The Indiana Legislature just made it easy for all of us to apply for professional jobs without the specialized training. By passing the law making it possible for ANY professional person to apply to be a superintendent of schools, they are making the whole state look uneducated.
So schools are cutting teachers but are getting grants to hire cops. I guess policing kids is more important than educating them.
I believe we all should have gay marriages. Then abortion becomes a non issue.
Please, to the person that saw the pregnant cat don’t wait for the owner to pick her up please try and pick her up and take her to a vet or humane society.
