As I was driving down U.S. 20 the other day in Portage I noticed where they tore down all the trailers it looked like a dump site, and there was even flocks of seagulls in there. Someone needs to clean that up.
April 15 — got tax papers from accountant at 5 p.m. Arrived at Portage post office 5:20. One clerk working. While standing in line was told the truck would be loaded at 6:00 so if your envelope had not been processed by then it would not be postmarked April 15. My receipt read 5:56. Oh, the many people after me!
I would like to get in contact with the person who left the Quickly about the calico pregnant cat hanging around Carolina in Gary. It is not my cat but I will come and pick up the cat.
The breath test for promgoers at Chesterton High School does not bother me; the fact that they continue to have prom in their cafeteria does. What a joke.
I read in the paper tonight about Merrillville using bonds to pay for the road repairs. It wasn’t very many years ago people got the lottery going in Indiana, then the casinos, saying how they would fix our roads and help the schools.
