Sen. Dan Coats just got a check from the gun lobby three weeks ago, but isn’t saying for how much. So, we’re left in the dark as to what a “No” vote from Coats costs these days.
Why so much emphasis on some one smoking pot? I don’t care if they smoke dried up dandelion or newspapers ... who cares?
Are you serious? Would you risk flooding your yard and home because you think it’s the city’s job to clean your sewer grates? It only takes a minute to clean, take a plastic bag, put the leaves and garbage inside the bag throw it in the trash. Two minutes of your time to save you a major headache.
Should criminals and the mentally ill be able to buy military assault rifles? The NRA and its fully paid for politicians say yes. What’s next? Maybe criminals have a “right” not to be in jail?
We’re a week removed from the bombing in Boston. And the cable network news agencies have created more heroes than there were victims. Heroes used to stop things from happening, now we create them in the aftermath. The 19-year-old kid was hiding in a boat in the backyard, and 2,000 police officers took 24 hours to get him, and there’s heroes everywhere!
Mr. Kinkaid, I think you’re the best teacher in the world. I hope the kids that caused all this were punished.
Just because your smart phone can give you anything you want in a matter of seconds, don’t expect your medical care at the emergency room to “instantly cure you” in a matter of minutes.
