I got my property tax bill today in Crown Point. Fifty-seven percent of it is for the schools. I wonder what the bill would have been if Crown Point had not built the new high school and elementary school which were not needed. ( I don’t know if the new middle school was really needed.)
I don’t think your neighbors are crazy for mowing their lawn in cold weather. I think you are crazy for writing to Quickly to complain about them.
I have lived in Merrillville for 47 years, and I am so ashamed of how it looks nowadays. All the houses that are empty aren’t maintained. Let’s clean it up and get back to the way it use to be.
I just came from the Merrillville council meeting and shame on those two council members who laughed at our president for her hearing disability. Maybe you guys should pronunciate better so we all can hear you.
If the sign in front of the gas station on Broadway in Crown Point has to be a “Williamsburg” design, what do you call the sign on the former green house in Crown Point? “Federsburg” design?
