Large set of keys found in Hessville. I turned them in to the Hammond police.

Good luck to the people of Hebron and Knox when they try to sell their homes. No family will want to purchase a home in a school district with huge class sizes and no extracurricular programs for kids. The members of the Indiana General Assembly should be ashamed of themselves for causing this.

Since the Gary Air Show has been canceled for this year, how about if we put on our own air show by flying kites at the beach that weekend? Let’s fill the sky with kites!

I’m a new resident of Kouts and I was wondering, isn’t there a speed limit on Main Street? My kids and I had to run to get to the other side of the street.

I wonder if my neighbor thinks that the flowers he planted makes up for the junk truck that’s been sinking into his front yard for the last four years.

I would like to thank everybody who helped clean up District One in Gary Saturday. Young, old and in between — everybody was out there lending a hand, and the place looks a whole lot shinier.
