This is where our Lake County tax money goes. Our elected officials actually have employees on staff just to work on their campaigns. No wonder they need to keep raising taxes.
I am so disgusted with the Schererville financial adviser who stole $1.1 million from the elderly client. Why is she not in prison? That is not chump change.
How many times do we have to indict a crooked politician in Lake County? When are they going to realize that they can’t get away with it? Is any of it worth going to prison for? That’s the million-dollar question.
Attorney Scott King noted that his client, Surveyor George Van Til, had a “long and distinguished” career in Lake County. What does that matter if he broke the law?
Another indicted Lake County politician has hired Scott King as his attorney. At the rate the feds are catching these crooked Democrats, King looks like he will have a lifetime job.
The problem with Gary is NOT REALLY crime, racism, money, opportunity or such. The main problem is GOOD PEOPLE who sit back and do nothing. I just had a bike stolen and, by happenstance, came across a kid with the bike! Soon, the alleged father came out, and after a heated discussion, “concluded” he would just keep it.
An 18-line Quickly that parrots Fox “News” and mixes apples and oranges like crazy. No, government didn’t cause the mortgage crisis. Greedy lenders and Wall Street securitizers did. Yes, government is reforming health care so we can treat more patients for less cost per capita — just like other civilized nations do.
