They need to rename Valparaiso “Little Chicago” for more reasons than just gas prices.
I’d like to give kudos to the Hobart Board of Public Works for taking care of rundown houses. That’s more than I can say for Porter County.
I just got my new handgun so I guess it’s safe to go out and mow my lawn!
Who on earth OK’d the paint colors of the newly remodeled fast food restaurant in DeMotte? Those are the most depressing colors I’ve ever seen.
A polite message to my neighbor: Please do not mow my lawn. You mowed down to the dirt. It’s suppose to be three inches long, not a half inch.
You can meet the nicest people at the one-lane bridge on Samuelson Road in Portage.
Why fight them — I am joining. I will quit mowing my lawn and instead put up a Proud Union Home sign. Saves me work and gas and makes my lawn blend in with my Proud Union Home neighbors who don’t mow their lawns.
So, 25 to 30 teachers in the Hebron schools don’t even live in the Boone Township school district? As long as the students get a good education, who cares?
